Liability

GHIGO Calzature is not responsible for any damages or losses, direct and/or indirect, arising from the sale of goods and services listed in the catalog published on the website www.ghigocalzature.com, including—by way of example and not limitation—delays or failure in delivery, as well as any discrepancies between the delivered product and the specifications published on the website, except in cases of liability directly attributable to GHIGO Calzature.

Technical Information Regarding Products on the Website

The technical and dimensional information on the GHIGO Calzature website is provided based on data supplied by manufacturers and artisans.

GHIGO Calzature reserves the right to modify or update such information at any time, even without prior notice, should changes be communicated by the manufacturers or artisans themselves.

Characteristics of Handcrafted Production

All GHIGO Calzature footwear is handmade by Italian artisans using high-quality materials.

Any:

  • minor finishing imperfections
  • slight asymmetries
  • minimal differences between one shoe and another

do not constitute manufacturing defects, but rather inherent characteristics of handcrafted production and the uniqueness of the product.

These characteristics do not entitle the customer to a refund or replacement, except in the case of evident and undeclared structural defects.

Heel Height

To maintain the correct proportions of the model, the actual heel height may vary from what is indicated on the website.

In particular:

  • for smaller sizes the heel may be slightly lower
  • for larger sizes (from size 42 upwards) the heel may be higher

Example:
a pump listed with a 9 cm heel in size 31 may have an 8–8.5 cm heel, while in size 43 it may reach 10 cm or more.

To know the exact heel height of a specific size, customers are invited to contact us before purchasing.

Color Differences

The product images published on the website are for illustrative purposes.

Any slight color differences between the images displayed and the product received may depend on:

  • lighting
  • device settings (screen, brightness, contrast)
  • natural characteristics of the materials used
  • handcrafted production

Such slight color differences do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Footwear Sizes and Fit

As our footwear is handcrafted by different Italian artisans, each model is produced using different manual lasts, in keeping with the style and design of the product.

For this reason:

  • internal dimensions
  • fit
  • overall comfort

may show slight differences even for the same size number, depending on the last used and the handcrafted process.

The measurements shown in the size chart published on the website should be considered indicative.

In any case, customers may request the specific measurements of the model of interest before purchasing by contacting us via email or WhatsApp.

Any fit differences attributable to handcrafted production and the lasts used do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Product Availability

Product availability may vary in real time based on received orders and in-store sales.

GHIGO Calzature does not guarantee the allocation of ordered goods until the order is confirmed.

Risk and Ownership

Goods are shipped carriage paid, insured with the cost charged on the invoice.

If shipment is made carriage forward, at the customer’s request, the risk passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the carrier.

Upon delivery, the customer is required to verify:

  • the integrity of the packages
  • the quantitative and qualitative correspondence with the delivery note

Any anomalies must be reported within 7 days of receipt via email (info@ghigocalzature.com) or via WhatsApp at +39 3493313888, with any supporting photographic documentation.

Reports made after this period will not be taken into consideration.

Orders

Orders are accepted exclusively online.

The customer will receive a confirmation email containing the order number.

In the absence of an order number, the proposal shall be deemed not accepted for all legal purposes, even in the event of technical or administrative charges.

All footwear undergoes a quality control check before shipment.

Orders are shipped only after passing quality control, which verifies compliance with GHIGO Calzature’s artisanal standards.

If the product does not pass quality control, GHIGO Calzature reserves the right to:

  • proceed with a new production of the product
  • propose an alternative model
  • agree with the customer on the most suitable solution

Shipping costs do not include any customs duties.

Prices

All prices are expressed in Euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

GHIGO Calzature reserves the right to change prices at any time, without prior notice.

GHIGO Calzature also reserves the right not to fulfill orders from customers with outstanding payments, disputes, or situations of non-compliance.

Payment methods

  1. Credit card

  3. Bank transfer
  4. Cash on delivery (Italy only)
  5. ALMA (installments from 2 to 4 payments)

Some payment methods may only be available in certain shipping countries.

Right of Withdrawal and Returned Value

In the event that the customer exercises the right of withdrawal, GHIGO Calzature does not issue cash refunds.

Instead of a monetary refund, the customer will be granted a store credit equal to the amount paid, usable for purchases on the website www.ghigocalzature.com.

Use of Store Credit

The store credit:

  • is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
  • can be used to purchase any product available on the website
  • does not entail additional costs for the customer

Multiple Purchase for Size Testing

In the case of purchasing multiple pairs of the same model in different sizes for the purpose of evaluating fit or the most suitable size, returns entitle the customer exclusively to an exchange or store credit.

No cash refund is provided in such cases, as this practice results in temporary unavailability of products and a significant impact on warehouse organization and availability for other customers.

Operating Procedures

  1. The return must be requested and completed within 15 days from the date the customer receives the order.
  2. The customer must request return authorization via email or WhatsApp, indicating the order number, item code, and size.
  3. Before returning the products, the customer must wait for authorization from GHIGO Calzature, which will provide an identification number (RMA) that must be clearly visible on the package. Failure to include the RMA number may compromise the delivery of the product, as without this authorization the shipment may not be correctly identified and may be delayed or rejected.
  4. Footwear must be returned unused, in the original packaging, and properly protected.
  5. After receipt and verification of compliant goods, the store credit will be confirmed (subject to verification of product integrity) or the agreed replacement order will be shipped.
  6. All return shipping costs, including customs duties for non-EU countries, are borne by the customer and are non-refundable.

Expiration of Store Credit

If 12 months elapse from the date of issue of the store credit without it being used, the credit will expire and may no longer be used.

Return Shipping Methods

Italy: Poste Delivery Standard – Poste Italiane

EU Countries: national postal service or trusted courier

Non-EU Countries: UPS or DHL only

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including the exchange and return policy, is mandatory during checkout; without acceptance, the system will not allow the order to be completed.
